help finding a top hat tutorial please

I have been asked to make 50 mini top hat and moustache cakes.

I have a play around and cant really get the hats right.

Google only finds me a pilgrim hat or a big top hat cake.

Any ideas where I might find a video or picture tutorial?

Mike, thats a challenge in half for you, and you cant find anything at all?

Do the top hat and moustache have to be on the same cake or can you do some top hat cakes and some white with moustache?

I'll put some pics on my profile of what is wanted and my first attempt at a hat.

I don't habeas any black fondant in so am having a go in white for now.

Can't add the pic of what is wanted as on my phone but it's tophats on one cake and moustache on another.

No where near as easy as it looks.

Mike those look fab. If you want the curve on the bottom of the hat can you cut a inner cardboard tube from kitchen roll in half and rest them to dry on that? It will give you a uniform curve and somewhere to dry them all!

Blueberry I cuts the inside of kitchen paper roll in half and plan to use that.
