Those look great! I feel inspired to make some.

I am so making those! Grin

I made smaller balls which made 35 rich tea sized cookies in total. Cooked till brown at the edges. Lovely and chewy when cooled.

oh my goodness. I will save this recipe for a later date, thank you for this! I love oatmeal raisin cookies, have never considered making them with condensed milk.

Mary Berry's chocolate chip cookies include a whole tinful - dead easy and lovely. I have been known to drink the stuff straight from the tin - it is the food of the gods, you know.

Millionaires Shortbread is the thing to make with condensed milk. Using that recipe I've got from the side of a flour packet many years ago! It uses 3/4 of a tin of condensed milk, so I just HAVE to finish eating the rest of the tin with a teaspoon. Such dedication I have to baking, I force myself to do it!

DoingItForMyself · 21/08/2012 19:57

My favourite recipe requires half a tin of condensed milk and a spoon, Yummmmmmmm. Might try some of those other recipes though.

My DM used to leave it in the fridge to get a chewy skin on top, even better!

And when I worked abroad they sold it in tubes so you could just squirt it straight in your mouth Grin

pff if we're just comparing condensed milk recipes, it's all about the Key Lime Pie! :) I've also got some sinful bar recipes I use around Christmas. This is the first time I've seen it in a cookie, though.

Will have a look at the lovely Mary Berry's recipe.

GreenEggsAndNichts · 21/08/2012 21:56

You can often get some random brand in the world food aisle cheaper than Nestle too.

ThePieSmuggler · 22/08/2012 09:08

Thank you people, I'm very excited about cookie making now Grin
