ASD son, who only seems to like/taste spicy food - can anyone recommend a good simple cook book?

Its that simple really - we are having terrible trouble getting DS(4) to eat - but I have noticed that more and more he only seems to like strong flavors - pickles, marmite, peperoni pizza - he will lick mustard off a knife - etc,

I am a reasonable cook - but don't really know about curries, etc - I need a cook book that will help me do that simply (i.e. buy a paste, add some spices etc).

Any recommendations?

Dave's insanity sauce.
It is like super-duper-tobasco - really spicy, you only need ONE DROP. FH swears by it.

Right I quizzed my Mum Grin

Mash - add whole grain mustard and mature cheddar. Or Stilton?! If he will eat that
Look for flavoured spicy sausages
Chorizo? In pasta
Chilli
Tacos
Tom yum soup - m&s sell the paste, can add noodles, prawns, veg
Veg in a cheesy mustard sauce
Covent garden were doing a piccalilli soup.. Would he eat broccoli and Stilton?
Cauliflower cheese soup, can make with some mustard in
She says google Indian side dishes as some have a lot of veg in and spicy

Will add if she thinks of any more - she did an Indian cookery course and runs a pub now Wink

Brighthair - thank you very much to you, and your mum, Will be trying all the suggestions - he had some spicy curry today which he liked, lots of mustard at the weekend, and wasabi peas - so think I am definitely on the right track.

Now just have to work out how to make him a spicy packed lunch for school!
