Overwhipped the cream

Ok. My lovely new Kenwood chef titanium is wonderful, but so quick. Cream is now overwhipped and some sort of curdled mess. Try to save it by adding bit more cream - past the point of no return though.

So i have a creamless banoffee pie and some weird creamy mess. What can i do with the creamy mess....if anything?! We will eat the banoffee pie with ice-cream.

You can make the creamy mess into butter to amuse the DCs. Not a lot else that can be done tbh

Thanks. I did it. It looks like butter and tastes like butter Grin, although slightly sweet as i remembered I'd added a tablespoon of icing sugar to the cream!

Can you make cakes? Just add a few more spoons of sugar to the butter and hey presto - butter icing Grin
