Quick help about trout!!

Sorry to start a new thread about my trout! (Already posted earlier about how to cook it) but just realised I didn't ask about the preparation and going to cook it in the next few mins!

Rainbow trout, whole and gutted. Head on with fins and tails, etc.

Do you i need to cut of fins? Guess I leave tail and head on. Do I need to rinse fish under water and dry first? Help!?!

Going to bake in oven wrapped in foil.

Thanks

Don't rinse. Its usual to leave head and fins on a trout.

If you can't bear to see head and fins on your plate then chop head off with a knife just behind gills and snip fins off with kitchen scissors.

Thanks MoreBeta, caught your comments just as I was guess preparing it! Read on a few websites to rinse, so I had already done that. Oh well, know for next time. Chopped off head, fins and tail once cooked!
