Nutella covered birthday cake

My ds is 6 on Saturday and he wants a nutella covered no 6 cake which I hope to make later on today but I`m just not sure on how to store the cake until saturday.......will the nutella need to be refrigerated or do you think an airtight plastic box keep it ok?

Nutella doesn't need to be refrigerated nor does cake. If you use buttercream with it that will get runny if your house is warm.

Nigella actually does a nutella cake in her domestic godess book. I don't know if you can be bothered to google for it.

Can I just say, in case you haven't thought of it. Make sure you tell people what it is, in case of nut allergies.

Good point i ll make a victoria sponge as well, just hope it all gets eaten if not i will just have to eat it!!!
