who's getting fed up with toast, weetabix, porridge and fruit. And I can understand it.
Do you have any nutricious, yummy and filling ideas I could try ?
I did try corn flakes once but she spat them out !

Ruce krispies. Cheerios. Hot cross buns, crumpets, little pancakes with butter, muffins. Dippy egg? Um... will think some more!

Be fine with eggs then.

TBH, there isnt much wrong with having a combination of what she is already having. Porridge one day, Weetabix the next, Toast the day after (all followed by fruit/yoghurt Include Eggs in the rotation.

My dd loves eggs, and the great thing is you can vary which way you cook them also. I offer her fried egg on a piece of toast, boiled egg or kinda poached egg done in a cup in microwave, or scrambled egg!

Otherthings she has - brioche, bread and jam, weetabix, toast and marmite, crumpets, toasted muffins, croissants.

potato drop cakes
creamed mushroom on toast

bagels have been known to appeal solely on the novelty value of the hole...

DH is a great fan of savoury things for breakfast - perhaps try something in the kippers/smoked fish/kedgeree line?

Or if you have panettone left over from Christmas like some people...

French toast (aka eggy bread)

zippitippitoes · 10/03/2006 15:24

ham cottage cheese

krabbiepatty · 10/03/2006 15:27

American-type pancackes with strawberries and honey.
Poached egg on an English muffin with slice of cheese and ketchup (bit MaccyDs but nice)
