Tiramisu

Hii have a recipe for tiramisu which calls for whipped cream on top ( obviously followed by cocoa dusting ). Is this correct?

I've never used whipped cream on top - no need, the mascarpone mixture should make it creamy enough. But then I suppose there are a few variations. My recipe came off a lid!
