helloSmile Can anyone help with my problem???? my ds has stopped eating breakfast - used to eat only wheetabix when first started weaning - then refused that and went onto ready brek (wouldn't have anything else)followed by toast but now refuses any cereal or toast - have tried little pancakes and crunpets but now has gone off those. Pureed or sliced fruit is also out the window...can anyone suggest anything?? He still has 7 oz of milk first..I have tried giving him milk when he wakes and giving b'fast a bit later but I can't do that when i'm working - Mon - Thurs as we need to get ready and in the car by 7.30am!! Many thanks for any suggestions Grin

Cut out the milk if you want him to eat sometihng else, I would. How old is he?

tracyk · 09/03/2006 09:05

what age is he? Can you give him 2 oz of milk when waking, then bfast and then finish off with milk in the car?

Spannet · 09/03/2006 09:05

BTW my ds is 16 months TIA

oh definately cut the milk out before bfast. If 2 oz gives you breathing space to get bfast ready - thats what I do. I give ds 4 oz on waking and that keeps him happy till I get showered etc and then we go downstairs an hour later and he has bfast.

Thanks...I thought the milk might be the problem...what cereals do you guys use???DS only has 4 teeth - non at the back - so I worry about chewing stuff.

do you give baba milk first before brekkie?

Spannet · 09/03/2006 11:26

Hi Biglips....yeah I do...he's usually desperate for a drink when he wakes up - wont have water if he can see his bottle or milk nearby (ie when we're in the kitchen).
