Hello, I'm due to make a pudding at the weekend to contribute to a dinner for 10 friends. Any suggestions for best puddings ever? Must be able to travel down a motorway happily for an hour!

Thanks Smile

If you can keep it cool for the hour, how about a cheesecake? Always guaranteed to please. kahlua chocolate cheesecake - could make the topping separately and put on at destination

Thanks Selks, that does look yummy...

Profiteroles? Make them beforehand and put in airtight container. Take pot of cream for whipping and filling there. I use jars of chocolate sauce that you just warm through and drizzle over.

The delia chocolate bread and butter pudding. Needs to be made in advance then just pop in oven when you get there and serve with cream. Delicious...

Not so much a pudding, but can be if you serve it with a spoon of cream. Very rich so make it a small slice. An absolute doodle to make and lasts easily to the next day.

Rachel Allen's chocolate amaretti cake

I'm not keen on chocolate and orange so I leave out the orange.
