I have found this diet and I am thinking of giving it a go, has anyone else tried it?

Out of interest, what is wrong with the 'healthy foods, sensible portions, plenty of exercise' diet?

I have absolutely no idea why people torture themselves with these quick fix diets, only to then go and regain everything they lost the minute they go back to eating normally again. Confused

I lost 6 stone in 16 months from following a 1200 calorie per day diet, and nothing was off limits, no daft restrictions and having to eat foods I didn't even like... but I still lost weight at a great rate.

I tank you may be right I was going to use this as a kick start but did it for one day and found I was starving by dinner time. I worked out the calories for the first day and it was less than 700, which I think is probably not healthy and is almost starvation. I have dieted before and just wanted to know how other people have lost weight.

Losing 6 stone is amazing and I think 1200 calories is a more sensible way of doing it. Will just restrict the amount of food rather than starving myself!
