DD1's 4th birthday party on Sat and im making attempting a princess castle cake for her.

Stupidly busy this week so wondering how far in advance I can make the cake. Im planning a Madeira.
If I made the cake today, would it be ok to ice on Fri afternoon/evening?
If so how would I store it?

thanks
