and the oven roasted ratatouille and the stuffed peppers with new potatoes, feta and pesto. Yum!

NettoSuperstar · 21/07/2012 14:35

Dressed puy lentils, vedgeree, potato tartare salad, biryiani, dhal, honey roast tomatoes.
I've loved everything I've tried from it.

Frontline · 21/07/2012 14:36

The swede/carrot etc pasties are delish (hot or cold, use ready bought puff pastry to save time).

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 21/07/2012 14:38

The oven baked ratatouille is gorgeous. The cauliflower pakoras and the fried chilli and rosemary polenta finger things r also a big hit in my house. The beetroot hummous sounds bizarre but is actually very good. :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/07/2012 14:40

I've not been v inspired by it thus far. I made the potato and chard curry - it was okay, except for the chard which was disgusting. I have much, much nicer curry recipes tbh.

The dhal recipe looks really, really bland and boring - I have an ace recipe for dhal though, if you want it!

Quite fancy the stuffed peppers with new potatoes, feta and pesto.

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 21/07/2012 14:40

Oooh the honey roasted tomatoes r delish and the bread dough is fab

Frontline · 21/07/2012 14:41

Oh and I fancy the potato tartare salad, so nice to see Netto giving that the heads up.

msbuggywinkle · 21/07/2012 14:47

The Aubergine parmigiana is great, as is the wedding day dip. Well, I like pretty much everything in the mezze chapter actually!

BloooCowWonders · 21/07/2012 14:50

we had a pullout from last weekend's newspaper. I like the look of the vegeree (kedgeree) with aubergines and courgettes.

msbuggywinkle · 21/07/2012 14:55

The vegeree is lovely!

ppeatfruit · 21/07/2012 14:56

I didn't do well with the tempura maybe it was me doctoring the batter I don't know but I then made the pakoras (with the leftover batter which I thickened) and they were fantastic.

SandStorm · 21/07/2012 14:57

DD is currently making the tomato, thyme and goat's cheese tart.

Olympia2012 · 21/07/2012 14:58

The ketchup chickpea curry is surprisingly good too, and dead easy, plus reheats well so great to do as a selection of dishes.
We loved the cambodian wedding day dip too.
I've not cooked from it for ages, must dig it out this week.

noddyholder · 21/07/2012 15:11

It is all delicious and a dinner party winner! Everything LOOKS and tastes amazing when done.I love Hugh

Olympia2012 · 21/07/2012 15:12

It's not something I can afford right now Sad

Maybe after sept when dc are back at school I will, it all sounds scrummy. My dc adore veg, 2 teens included.

acsec · 21/07/2012 15:14

If you make the pesto ( really easy) the pasta with new potatoes green beans and pesto is really yummy - the whole family adored this. I made teh Pesto with walnuts and it was well worth it.
I also made teh chillies stuffed with beans with Tesco mini peppers and they were nice ( if a bit of palaver to stuff ) too. I consider myself quite an experienced vegetarian cook but there are some nice simple hearty things in this book that seem to work well, and I must try the beetroor tart tatin before the summer is out.
