Soup with no onion?

I've got a butternut squash and a few sweet pots that I was going to turn into soup before we go away tomorrow. I've just realised I have no onions left...will it be any good? I have celery, vegetable stock, various herbs.

Any opinions? Please say it'll be fine without and that I don't have to make a 4 mile round trip to the supermarket for one onion Grin

My husband can't eat onions so have to adapt many such recipes! Could you add garlic to add taste?
