my dd won't eat - any advice?

My dd had a vomiting bug last week for about three days. She will now only eat her breakfast and nothing else throughout the day. She won't even touch her pasta in tomato sauce which usually goes down very well. I know we shouldn't make a big deal of this because it makes mealtime a battle ground which makes the situation worse and the experts say a toddler will not starve themselves but I am really worried because she is not very chubby anyway and now she looks quite skinny in my opinion. She is also teething so I don't know if that has any relevance. I don't know what to do because my health visitor is a waste of time. DD is 15 months old btw. Any advice would be much appreciated.

They get like this, you've got to give her time, toddlers can survive and be quite healthy on very little, give her a few days and she'll gradually get better I'm sure.

Definately don't make mealtimes a battle ground (been there sigh!)..

If you're very worried about her weight loss try Complan (sachets of food replacement) you can add them to milk or water and they come ina variety of flavours. My DS is on these atm

Had lots of problems with my ds about food. In fact, he really didn't take to proper table food until he was almost 2! Try giving her some crackers.
