Wedding cake stacking help please!

Made my first solo wedding cake for a wedding this weekend. Did a much smaller one on a course and just used a few dowelling rods, not sure how many to use on this one! They are the hollow plastic rods, and I have a 7, a 9 and an 11 inch tier. How many rods would each one need? Tried googling but every single website has a different answer. Thanks in advance!

For a 3 tier cake of that size I'd do 4 in the bottom, and 3 in the 2nd tier. I use when doing my first 3 tiered cake :)

Thanks, I think it's similar to the conclusion I came to, which was 5 in each, in using the centre one! I won't be doing a long central dowel as mine are plastic, each cake is on a thick drum, and I'd likely topple it if I tried to push one all the way through! Will do a middle dowel in each one though! Thanks for your help!
