Will I ruin my beef chilli

Hi, I am planning on trying a different recipe for chilli, but I really hate browning meat. Will it matter if I don't brown the beef before putting it in the slow cooker? It's not mince I'm using btw.

I always do this - the meat is alot more tender. Just check the mince is low fat otherwise the chilli could end up greasy

ok just read not mince - meat will be fine just chucked in (technical term!)

Browing is what gives the dish lots of flavour, it would be better browned first but I guess will work okay if you don't brown it first.

I've just tasted the sauce - It won't need any more flavour (I've never used chipotle paste before - It has a bit of a kick!)

sounds great derek - I too hate browning meat. I love chilli and am always on the lookout for interesting recipes - could you post your recipe? Chipotle paste sounds fabulous.
