Apricots left soaking

I've had apricots soaking on water for a week in the fridge. Can I still use them? They're for a flapjack recipe. Was only meant to soak them for an hour but didn't get round to making the flapjacks!

They do look and smell ok. I think you're right though. Must read recipes properly. Always seem to skip the bit that says soak or marinade for so long before you start Grin

Even if they are fermenting a little, I think I would use them. You are cooking them, so that should kill anything.
