new shiny kitchenaid.

new shiny baby too, (and old, tantrum-skilled toddler) so time a bit limited.

however I am bored of victoria sponges week in, week out.

so does anyone have easy, toddler friendly, recipes they would recommend?

sweet or savoury :)

thanks!

Mine often help make bread, simple in the KA with the dough hook and then they shape the bread into funny shapes!

I made a good banana loaf today. Very simple and non-brain-engaging.

Why not do some fairy cakes and let toddler decorate.

No machine trickery in my kitchen, but DS and I make cheese biscuits and cut out with a foot shaped cutter. And ginger bread men, an awful lot of gingerbread boys and baby girls. And shortbread letters. I have an lot of cutters!

Muffins, easy peasy lemon squeezy, although you don't actually need a kitchenaid for them! No creaming of butter & sugar, just mix dry ingredients in a bowl, mix wet in a jug, add wet to dry, mix, add whatever flavour you want, put in cases and bake for 15 mins. Takes less than 45 mins from start to finish and you end up with 12 portions of deliciousness Smile. Great for toddlers.
