Fish cakes

Does anyone have a recipe for fish cakes that doesn't involve mashed potato? Maybe breadcrumbs instead? And that children like?! TIA.

butternut squash instead of potato? maybe some lentils or blitzed chick peas to add texture?

Left over smoked haddock and leek risotto can make nice fish cakes - need enough flour/breadcrumbs though to avoid a squidgy mess! - and parmesan also tasty addition!
