Bought some of these today thinking I could cook them with the shell on. Apparently, you have to take the peas from the shell, and just cook the peas. But I wanted to cook them whole?

They need to be in the streamer in about 15 mins!! Help!

Can I cook them whole? With the shell on??

NO!

Take them out of the pods, They are nicer raw than cooked TBH, but you would only boil/steam them for about 3 minutes max.

I think the shells will be a bit tough. If you want shells, you have to use mange touts.

What's the problems with just shelling them? It wi

Take you or a juvenile slave about five minutes.

Bugger.

I know how it sounds, but can serve peas in the pods, just not the peas themselves. Knew I should have stuck to mange tout.

Thanks very much for your help :)

Sugar snap peas yiu can eat whole, but peas in a pod should be shelled first else they'll be too tough.
