Muesli - what can I make with it?

I accidently bought a bag thinking it was porridge. It really is the most boring/tasteless cereal I've ever tried!
What can I make with it? or shall I throw it out as bird food?

Flapjack
Porridge made with muesli is nice
Add it to crumble topping too

You could try making Bircher muesli with it which is much more interesting. Basically you grate a apple into the muesli the night before and soak the mix in either milk or apple juice. In the morning serve with yoghurt and fresh fruit.

I have two giant packets of cornflakes to work through. Any ideas?

multitaskmama · 14/07/2012 23:13

Cornflakes! one obvious thing comes to mind, chocolate conrflake cakes.
The second not so obvious one is to blitz them and use them instead of breadcrumbs on fishcakes etc.

they make a nice base for cheesecake if you crunch them up. crunched up hoola hoops are great instead of breadcrumbs on chicken too.

You could always line the bottom of your kid's pet hamster cage and at least it won't go hungry. Lol. Sorry I couldn't resist but that stuff does kinda resemble wood shavings don't you agree?
