What are you favourite things to cook on it?

Well, raclette cheese for a start... Smile

sorry, couldn't resist that. I like to have a selection of ham, pickles (gherkins, baby onions etc), pineapple chunks, chopped pepper and/or mushrooms with a bit of olive oil and herbs, along with the sliced cheese, on the table for people to pick and choose what they fancy. I pre-bake some potatoes and put those on top of the raclette machine, and away we go, with everyone helping themselves to about a million calories...

Chorizo and other meats like that (though this does smoke a bit so best done when you can have the kitchen door open).

The DCs love it, it's one of their favourite meals.

I knew someone would mention the obvious bitweepy Wink just wanted to think beyond that! Thanks for the suggestions. I feel a raclette night coming on tomorrow Grin

Oh god, I love raclette.

I hate the fact I have to wait til christmas to get the cheese from my Dad! :( I have managed to get it in the christmas markets too, but it doesn't taste the same!

I'll be watching this thread closely for ideas Grin

Me, I love it.

The best is fillet steak.

I usually just do small bowls of onion, spring onion, peppers, eggs, cheese, potatoes (now, boiled), sometimes fish, mushrooms, courgettes, aubergine........... what ever is in the fridge.
