Hi all ? one of my oldest friends is coming to stay for the weekend, and she?s currently following Weight Watchers. I?ve asked her what she?d like me to get in but she?s far too polite to send me a list and just said ?Oh, don?t worry?, but I?d at least like to get some healthy foods in for her! She's doing really well and I don't want to derail her. What do people suggest?

I have 2 evenings meals, 2 breakfasts, and 2 lunches to sort out. Evening meals I?m thinking Chicken Paprika one night and Salmon / New potatoes / Veg the other. Am stumped for everything else though!

Thanks guys :)

The thing about weight watchers is that you are supposed to be able to carry on with your life. But it's nice of you to worry.

Carbs are high points so if skip the pasta - rather offer meals with lots of veg or salad and keep the carbs on the side (bread, potatoes etc) so she can choose her portion.

Also, when cooking avoid fatty foods like dairy and cheese as those will boost her points.

Salmon and chicken generally better than red meat.

Low fat milk etc.

Thanks Bling, that's nice to know! I'll pick up a selection of stuff and let her pick and choose.

yes, as Bling says. It is pretty much common sense eating on WW.

Just buy a selection -chicken, fish- lots of veggies. She will know the points of everything i am sure. the only thing to be aware of is processed foods - can have a lot of points in, and cook it all with as little fat/cream etc as possible.

Usually WW is suitable for all. Noone will miss out ifyou all eat the WW way. I used to cook us all the same food.

Fruit is zero points so if she eats fruit get lots of that in! Smile There are some lovely recipes on the WW website that you can all enjoy, as shrimp says it's just normal food and common sense.
