Sugar-free cake recipe?

I was going to make my toddler some sugar-free banana bread as his birthday cake (which is sweetened with raisins & sultanas) but I've just remembered that banana seems to be irritating his eczema.

Can anyone suggest a banana-less alternative sweetened with dried fruit please?

I've used some of these recipes before:

Can use agave nectar as an alternative? Or are you avoiding all sugars not just cane?

Thanks, both.

I try to avoid giving him sugary things as I am basically addicted to the stuff and he is showing signs of going the same way. I figure that even if the sugar level is high in things with dried fruit, the fibre etc in it will slow down its effect on the bloodstream.

The Baby Led Weaning cookbook has a few possibilities.
Baked Oat cake on page 176, happily available in this preview gets the sweetness from apple and raisins (but do mash the apple really well - I ended up with bits of apple in mine). Or the Spanish Apple Cake has a small amount of sugar, but gets the vast majority of the sweetness from apples again (I haven't tried this one but my friend got good results).
