Can I freeze rhubarb?

I'm getting conflicting advice on Google. Can I just chop & freeze or do I need to blanch first? I hate soggy rhubarb.

I chop, wash and weigh it. Say it weighs 500g...

... When I'm ready to cook it I put it in the pan (frozen), heat it slowly then when it's gone soggy add 10% sugar ( so 50g)

Works every time!

Thank you - I'll try that Smile
