I need a recipe please

One that taste good and looks good

Any other clues?
Are you any good at making cakes, or are you after a foolproof recipe?

I can make a cake - I am not overly adventerous, wanted something to look good and taste good, but taste was more important than looks.

I did see a cake that was stacks of spounge made byt he whisking method and cream and fruit layered inside - about 5-6 layers.

I can't find it again though.

Actually, I made it for children, so I didn't put any alcohol in, I just dissolved icing sugar and water. I've also made it with strawberries. It's delicious!
