i know there was a recepie last year but with the search not working can't find the link.
Can anyone help?
Urgently needed for egg allergic DS as its pancake day today

you need egg replacement powder from health food shop. WE used it until dd outgrew her cooked egg allergy

just made these....plain flour sifted, enough milk to make a thinnish batter, whisk up, add a pinch of bicarb and a good dollop of oil (i used sunflower, but i'm sure any bland veg oil is fine)...put in fridge for a bit (an hour i left it, but don't think it matters too much) and makes great pancakes....not as yellow as egg ones but really taste fine...

Got some egg replacement stuff.
Remember the one i used last year had gelatine in it, but will give fairydust's recipe a go

update
OK wghat am i doing wrong. it stuck madly to the pan and when i tried to move it like a normal pancake it turned into sticky gloop.
unmitigated disaster Blush unlike the real mccoyGrin
