Anyone else find it really tough and chewy? I bought their lean steak mince.

I use it all the time, never any problems

I like it, but the price has gone up a fair bit lately. The lean mince from Morrisons is good too, but Tesco's is awful.

I think that about a lot of mince. I say let it bubble away for a couple of hours...

Lean mince is always chewy. It's not suitable for slow-cooking. The value mince will be better if you want to do a bolognese or something else that would be nicer cooked slowly. And it's half the price.

I don't like it either BUT their frozen scotch beef mince is really good.
It looks gross when frozen as its like pellets but after five minutes breaks down and isn't stringy or chewy. The flavour is better and there is hardly any fat. Plus it's cheaper and you can cook it from frozen.
Tesco frozen is crap though.

I always find steak mince to be chewy, standard beef mince is better.
