Fresh strawberries as decoration

Hi,

I am making a cake for tomorrow and was going to decorate with sliced fresh strawberries. Should I keep it in the fridge after decoration?

No, prepare the strawberry slices first, drizzle with lemon juice (and sugar if you must) to preserve, and keep them in a bowl in the fridge until you decorate the cake, it'll take seconds.
Or just wash and cut the strawberries and decorate the cake just before you serve.
