Does anyone have a decent recipe for this I tried it myself with my 'normal' mince beef one, but the beef was so tough, and it was good beef.

I'd browned it lightly first then simmered it for over an hour. .

Any advice/ suggestion?

Cook in oven like a casserole- need around 2.5 -3 hours for meat to be tender. Use sone red wine plus tinned toms and flour to thicken, and spices and whatever else you want to put in. Add kidney beans about 30 mins from the end. Yum! Sorry for haphazard recipe tho Smile

Don't brown the mince first, put it in when you add the liquid. It was a revelation when I first did this - no more tough mince! It does need to be quality mince though otherwise it's too fatty.
