Onions, garlic, bayleaf, rosemary and slug of cider. Poss chicken stock cube if needed to add extra flavour.

Add wedges of bramley apple (lightly caramelised in butter?) at the end. Finish with a little creme fraiche.

You could always add chunks of potato.

Yum!

Similar recipe but basically, shove in the pork with chopped onion, bay leaf stock, maybe carrot and celery if you have it plus cider. Cook on slow for at least 4 hours. Just before serving add slices if apple fried slowly in butter. Add some creme fraiche to thicken the sauce too. Yummy.

I don't have a slow cooker but we had pork loin steaks last night and I fried onions and mushrooms, then removed, sliced up the pork and cooked that really well ( paranoid about pork for some reason) then all back together cooked it in cider, added lots of creme friache and the loads of tarragon, with sliced boiled baby potatoes, it was very quick to do and dh and I enjoyed it!
