Im baking an 11 inch round fruit cake and accoding to delia im cooking it on low shelf gas mark 1.
It should have taken around 5.5 hours but its not cooked and its been 7 hours.
Whats best, turn oven up? Move it higher? Just leave it longer?
I cant risk it cracking burning etc as it took me ages to make in a bucket!!!
