Walking home from school today in the pouring rain, I promised (loudly moaning) DCs hot chocolate. Only when we got in I realised we had absolutely no milk. So in a flash of desparation I dug out a tin of evaporated milk from the back of the cupboard. You would not believe how fantastic it is. It's really creamy with a sort of caramelly note, without being over-sweet. I am hooked! Just thought I'd share.
