I have a wedding fayre in August and I am considering offering candy buffets as well as my wedding cakes/cookies/cupcakes/cakepops/marshmallow favours/cake buffets. Does anyone have any experience of doing these ?

I haven't done this myself, but have you a look on PINTEREST, you'll find some great ideas on there.

I've seen lots of lovely ideas - what I mainly need to find out is costings and where you get the candy :)

Sorry, I saw candy buffet and got a bit excited! Not very helpful, definitely don't go on PINTEREST as you won't get anything else done.

Yes, I have wasted spent many fruitful hours on it Grin

I did a candy buffet for my own wedding. Was loved by all!! I found lots of pics on Flickr too.

Do we think they're a bit "5 minutes ago" ? Mind you, where I am in rural Sussex strapless dresses are still up-to-the-minute ! We've had a candy buffet at every wedding for the last 3 weeks at the hotel I work in.

Have seen some other cool ideas on line - cookie bar, popcorn bar and a cupcake bar.

Fucking hell. A candy buffet? Can I come please Grin that sounds so Alice in wonderland and fabulously unusual! So you need to buy candy in bulk, I'll help you look if you like? What are you after?
