I need a countdown for a big retirement fruitcake....

It needs to be ready for a party on 21st June.

I've made the fruitcake - it needs marzipanning (?such a verb) and icing, then I have some lovely sugarcraft flowers to put on the morning of the party.

Please give me dates, O great MN fruitcakers to marzipan and ice it!

I leave mine 24/48 hours just for the Marzipan to set and dry, then I ice. you can leave it marzipanned up to a week before Icing. I would ice it the night before the party.
