Finger food with bolognese?

my DS (15 months) has started to refuse to be spoon fed. Might be teething, might be an independence thing, or perhaps a stage. Anyway, I made a huge batch of bolognese sauce before this all started and now I'm at a loss what to do with it. I've made pinwheels by spreading it on some puff pastry and rolling it up. But other than that, am stuck.

Any ideas?

If you mix it with penne lots of the sauce goes inside the quills?

I just put it on the plate with penne or twists and let DS get on with it with his hands. Messy but perfectly acceptable way to eat bolognese.

Just mix it with pasta twirls, and your ds will get plenty of sauce on the pasta he picks up

Fill up a spoon and see if she will feed herself?

make a lasagne and she could shovel it in pick it up?
