OK - here goes:

Fry one chopped red onion, 2 chopped stickes of celery and 1/2 red chilli in 1 tbsp oil until soft.
Add 1 tsp ground cumin and 1/2 tsp coriander.
Drain and mash one 420g can of kidney beans and add to pan with 1 slice bread made into crumbs, one egg and salt and pepper - this should make a paste.
Heat another tbsp oil in pan and form mixture into 2 burgers and fry for 3 mins on each side.

This is from a BBC magazine and was the best one I could find last summer when I was looking for veggie burger recipes - I tried loads!
Good luck

I add mustard, and soy sauce to my chilliburgers, tastes yummy! Personally I would add a variety of beans. I love beans. Lasagne can be made with black beans as a tasty alternative. I also make bean hotpot.
