Blind baking a tart case this afternoon for a bakewell and got sidetracked bfing DD2 so it is still usable but too dark to go back in the oven to cook the sponge - has anyone any ideas for the kind of filling I can pour in and leave to set without needing further baking?

Thank you

If you google mascarpone tart filling you'll find shedloads of recipes for fillings involvimg mascarpone cheese, cream and sugar, with berries on top - should find one to suit. I don't know if cream cheese would work as a substitute.

Another option would be a chocolate tart - jamie oliver does one where the filling is set, not baked. Think it might be iin the naked chef.

Ooo ooo ooo chocolate lime filling

Find a recepie for lemon curd but use limes and add a bit of green food colouring. Top with a chocolate ganache. FIT

Mmm, choc tart filled the job beautifully - DH should be down from his sugar high by the end of the week Grin
Think I'll have to make it again beforelong
Thank you
