Preparing lasagne to eat later

Hi just a quick and possibly stupid question. I want to prepare lasagne to eat later. Can I cook the mince etc, make the white sauce then layer it with the pasta to cook later? Or is it better the cook the whole thing now to re-heat later? I would rather do the first if possible as it would then be freshly cooked when eaten.

Or any other suggestions? Confused
Ty in advance Smile

Yes, you can layer it and then chill or freeze it.

Brilliant, thankyou. Will do it now so there won't be as much washing up to later Smile

yes that is fine, however i would soak the pasta in warm water from the kettle for a few moments untill soft but not soggy, and allow the mince to go cold befre layering it up. otherwise the white sauce just soaks through the mince if the mince is cold the sauce is more likely to sit on the top.
