Is it safe? We've cooked it right through in a chickpea stew kind of deal. There are loads of leftovers but I'm a bit wary about eating it cold tomorrow....

I use Chorizo in my legendary stews(!)all the time and always refrigerate the leftovers and reheat the following day.No probs at all.It can deffo be eaten cold the next day too as it started off as cured meat anyway.Never any problems in our 'heavy use of Chorizo' house!

Yay. That's good news. Life without chorizo is a miserable prospect!!! Thank you.

I am not pregnant, never have been (and, being male, never will be) so I don't know how qualified I am to answer this, but Chorizo is the sort of sausage that has so many (natural) preservatives in it like salt and spices that I am sure it will be quite alright. For heavens sake, they hang these things from the beams in rural continental kitchens and outhouses don't they?
