Toddler cooking successes

If I post two, will you share any you come across. I realise they might be rare.

Prawn cocktail - huge success. Very easy to stir the ketchup into the mayo and then stir in the prawns. Also opportunity to "arrange" lettuce in bowl.

Big Cheese Salad - pretty good. Help to choose what veggies go in, "help" with slicing, move all into bowl. Squeezing on the lemon while I pour on some oil. Demanding more cheese.

Pitta pizzas. Lightly toast whole pittas, then split and spread some tomato purée on. Grate cheese in a bowl, slice salad onions in another, flake tin of tuna in a third. Let kids put their own toppings on the pizzas. Grill till cheese melts. My kids love these.

Fruit salad, toddlers can slice bananas and other soft fruit and mix everything together.

My DD has helped me make meat balls since she was a toddler, she loves squidging the mince into balls, and is now expert at the age of 5.

Roast toddler? Quite tempting after a difficult day I'm sure :o

Peeling carrots, with carrot lying on the table. Keeps ds happy for ages despite never turning it round.

Rubbing crumble mix together. Ds won't eat fruit but eats 'gruffalo' rhubarb crumble, from authentic long pink gruffalo legs!

Well done people (as my toddler would say) these sound fun - pitta pizzas in particular would give a pretty instant result. If I got toddler "peeling" an already peeled carrot, we could add the shavings to Big Cheese Salad.

Mine lends a hand with making omelettes and cakes.

Pizza definitely. Buy ready made base. Fruit salad is a fav in our house. 3yo loves cutting bananas and mango and strawberries. Making crumble mixture also a big fav.
