Evening Milk - What age to stop ?

In a bid to get my DD (Age 3.5) to eat better I have decided to stop her night time milk before bed. She will still have morning milk when she gets up.

What age did you stop this and do you think it might help her eating ?

Thanks

I haven't stopped yet. My eldest is nearly 10 and still has his evening drink of milk although that is practically all the milk he has to drink all day!

I don't think you should stop it TBH as milk is an important part of her diet. Maybe stop any daytime drinks of milk instead?

My dd is 21 months and still has her milk b4 bed. She loves it, it calms her down and its good for her - why stop?

DS1, aged 4, still has it and I see absolutely no reason to stop. Does your DD get her morning milk before breakfast? If so, why not give it to her with her cereal (or whatever) and that way she won't have filled up so much before she starts eating? Just an idea .

I stopped when I was getting them dry at night - very difficult if they are drinking lots of milk last thing. I just made up for it in other ways during the day, ie milk to drink mid morning.

Now DS is four we are back to having warm milk at bedtime because he gets up for a wee in the night if he needs one.

No reason to stop if they don't wet the bed!

About 3yo we impose the rule they have to eat most their tea or no pudding, and nothing much else either. That eventually means no tea=no bedtime milk, but we tapered it down slowly.
