easy biscuit recipe

Can any one recommend a really easy biscuit recipe, fool proof, as basic as you can get - it's my first time making biscuits!!

2 4 6 biscuits

2oz caster sugar
4oz butter or margarine
6oz plain flour

Combine all and roll out on a floured surface. Use cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Bake at 180 C for 10-20 mins depending on size.

Feel free to add any flavours you like, I have tried:

Cocoa
Mixed spice
Carraway seeds
Lemon/orange zest
vanilla
