Spaghetti help PLEASE!

How much spaghetti should I boil for two adults and one 3 year old? fuck! I never remember and always guess wrong and the water's boiling and DH in a fit of usefulness has already binned the packet which may or may not contain instructions

I just guess

um, I use a handful per person and one for luck

but is a small handful for spag

Guessing/going with handfuls typically gets me waaay too little could have done something else but this is the only thing I fancy
