Using up egg yolks

I've been making chocolate macaroons (sadly, turned out looking like poos). I don't want it to be a total loss so want to use up the left over egg yolks. Can anyone give me a recipe for carbonara or something else nice and yolky?

Can't c+p a recipe because I'm using my phone, but have a look on bbc food, the recipes there are fantastic. I'd make a bit of custard though:)

I made shortbread with left over egg yolks - very nice.

I always make lemon curd with leftovers egg yolks from meringues.

I use this carbonara recipe, it's rather good.

If I have a glut of yolks I quite often make custard, using double cream only, and freeze it. Or lemon/orange curd.

Creme brulee. Mmmmmm Smile

YOu can also add them to mashed potato to make it richer.

Also as an extra 'setting agent' in any quiche etc / baked egg dish (egg custard / baked cheesecake) also I think you need extra yolks in some Ice cream recipes too.

Or what about homemade mayonnaise?
