Hard boiled egg in lunch box? Will it be gross by lunch time?

If I hard boil an egg in the morning, peel it, slice it and wrap it in cling film will it be palatable by midday? Ds has a frozen cool pack thing in his lunch box

I agree, would make me boak. We are cutting down on processed stuff so salami sandwich is out and protein rich lunch box stuff is in.

yes will be fine , my mum used to put one in mine but let the shell on

once she put in a raw one...that was embarrassing

Lol poor you! Don't think he will manage to get the shell off himself. Do you think it will be ok without the shell?

Parma ham only contains salt & meat - although it's expensive. Roast a chicken and freeze the meat in portions for sandwiches - or do the same with roast beef.

yes it'll be fine..i have sliced in my packed lunch and i just chuck it in a tupperware box with some salad

I take a boiled egg to work sometimes and it's never been a problem. Just a bit smelly so I peel it when im on my own!
