if you have tried both, which works best? And which way of preparing it do you think works best? With/without added ingredients? Slashed top or not?

Thanks

Mmmm cheese porn.

NettoSuperstar · 18/05/2012 17:35

Lidded ramekins? Shock
That's not fair.
I thought I was poncey with my Le Creuset ramekins, but clearly not

Catsmamma · 18/05/2012 17:40

just make sure the box is stapled and not glued! or you will have a puddle of cheese on your tray :D

FuckingThorDaddyman · 18/05/2012 17:40

A whole camembert to yourself isn't greedy, just sensible! Never share a camembert!

Sarcalogos · 18/05/2012 22:15

Hmm he's away this weekend, shall I have one for dinner tomorrow? Never actually cooked it for myself and I don't have any ramekins, lidded or not, must be a proper pleb

IHaveAFeatureWallAndILikeIt · 18/05/2012 22:17

definitely in box or it will go everywhere!

I stab it a few times then drizzle in some white wine before I bake it.

I serve it with cucumber, carrot, celery and apple.

Apple is by far the best thing to dip in it!!

IHaveAFeatureWallAndILikeIt · 18/05/2012 22:19

and I have lidded lecreuset ramekins so I win! :-P

redrubyshoes · 18/05/2012 22:20

Try stabbing it and serving it with a coating of pesto and olive oil.

seabuckthorn · 18/05/2012 22:23

I need a camembert baker! Its on the birthday list!
You aren't supposed to eat Camembert when pregnant are you?
November is so long to dream about hot gooey cheese!
I'm noting down that honey, date, nut combo!
I think not of a better way to celebrate a baby's arrival than with Camembert?

QuickQuickSloe · 18/05/2012 23:14

Cooked cheese is fine seabuckthorn, tuck in!
