Best bowl for electric hand whisk?

I have a Kenwood electric hand mixer which I love (although I am hoping to graduate to Prospero or suchlike when funds allow). Currently I use my Pampered chef batter bowl with it - which I guess is similar to Pyrex but I have noticed it is getting lightly scratched.

What type of bowl do you use with a hand mixer - would a metal one be better?

I use a glass or plastic bowl. Glass seems to be fine, plastic gets scratched (but not too badly).

I've always thought about getting a metal bowl. I'm interested to hear other peoples experiences too!
