Hi

After seeing the rave reviews that this recipe has got on here I am going to try it today for the first time.

Do I need to brown it first or do I bung it in raw??

It's in the 'quick and easy slow cooker' recipe thread. On phone otherwise I would link. Grin

I did this:

Put in pork
Glugged two thirds bottle of BBQ sauce
Poured in about cans worth of coke

That's it.

Was lovely Grin

I've cooked venison in coke which is 'Lush' - and Nigella has a ham in coke recipe, too.
I was told the Argentinians use coke a lot on cooking as it tenderises the meat. Anyone out there who can confirm this?!

frazzlerock · 29/05/2012 14:01

Right so I've bought the pork and the coke (and have some BBQ sauce in cupboard). I don't have a slow cooker though....

Can I bung it in the oven?

What temp and for how long?
